My goodness! I can't believe I haven't written a word since before Christmas! It's not that I've been too busy crafting...! Altho, I have made a few quilting projects, entered one in an Art Show (didn't win anything) moved back to Illinois and reclaimed our little lot in the country, struggled through being unemployed and broke, almost landed a job managing a ranch and museum in Arizona (that would have been so much fun!) and we're now making plans to move our house back to Jamestown for the summer.

Arizona guy really liked us on paper and on the phone, so much so that he paid for tickets for us to fly out and see the place and interview face-to-face. The 'interview' never happened, as near as we can tell--he just shot the breeze and then left again. We hung out with the current managers, admired the whole place, asked them lots of questions and got really excited at the thought of being able to get such a cool job. I guess he didn't like our faces, tho, because the rejection letter came 4 days after we got back home. On to Plan B

So, I had a brief spell wherein I crafted a couple of cute Southwestern throw pillow sized quilts, and while we were out there, I started stitching together some 9 patch blocks. I'm not sure what they will be when they are finished....
















I've started a Yahoo Group for crafting full time rvers. It's growing rapidly--there are a lot of us out there on the roads! Lots of really fun ladies doing all kinds of crafts!

I'm still quilting on the Card Trick lap quilt I started last winter... It's been hot enough that I just wasn't interested in quilting anything warm! I plan to pack it away in the UFO drawer until cold weather!
